General Courses

 

*French for adults

Our General French courses for adults are open to all, starting from the age of 16. Their objective being to prepare you to live and/or communicate in a French-speaking environment. Whether you wish to get started or get better in French, you will find a course suited to your level among those we offer, from level 1 (beginners) to level 5 (advanced).

 

*French for Teens

Our French for Teens courses are open to all youngsters aged 11 to 15. Whether you want your children to learn a new language or give them  the opportunity to do better in school if they are already learning French there, we have the right course for them.

 

All through the course, young students are encouraged to communicate spontaneously through topical situations close to those in which their young French counterparts actually  are, so as to develop their interest and motivation.

 

*French for kids

Our French for Kids courses are open to all youngsters aged 7 to 10. Whether you want your children to learn a new language or give them  the opportunity to do better in school if they are already learning French there, we have the right course for them.

 

All through the course, young students are encouraged to communicate spontaneously through topical situations close to those in which their young French counterparts actually are, so as to develop their interest and motivation.

 

One-to-One Courses

 

Our One-to-one courses are open to all, whatever your age or level, and will enable you to attend customized French classes, according to your needs and availability, at The Lingua Academy, your workplace or your home.

 

We carry out beforehand an individualized study of your needs and objectives, and depending on our findings, we draw up a tailor-made syllabus and schedule best suited to your requirement.

Professional French for complete beginners

Our “Professional French for complete beginners” is aimed at adults (students or working professionals) who are complete beginners – or near-beginners – in French. The course offers a basic knowledge of the language for immediate and concrete use in the professional world.

Themes include:

  • Phone conversations
  • Taking a trip
  • Staying at a hotel
  • Shopping and eating out
  • Describing one’s work and company
  • Describing a typical work day
  • Solving a problem related to banking, health and technology

 

Business French Certificate Course

 

Our “Business French Certificate Course” is aimed at adults (students or working professionals) having already completed the level 3 (B1) and want to master the French language (both oral and written) especially with regard to everyday situations in the world of business.

This prepares you for the “DFP Affaires B2” exam issued and certified by the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris (CCIP)
